Autumn 2022

September is like a second January. It's a time when routines are changed, new school years start and we begin to think about the move away from Summer and into Autumn. It's a great time to re evaluate your fitness goals and make plans accordingly.

In the Spring we want to get tanned, toned and maybe drop a pound or two, ready for the beach; coming into the winter our priorities are different.  For me, it's much more about wanting to feel strong, but mostly about my mental health. When the weather worsens, I don't want to feel trapped inside, inactive, so classes are a great opportunity to get out and get moving - no matter what the weather. It's also good to have the support and motivation of other people in class with me, laughing and dancing alongside each other.

With changes in routines, September is a time we see a lot of new faces. Children starting school frees up time for Mums - or maybe moving to Secondary means that there isn't a school run any more. Those precious few hours of "me time" are well spent with a little self care. We have a special offer for new clients of 2 months unlimited classes with a 20% discout -  £67.20 rather than £84, which is a great lead up to...dare I say it....Christmas!

We also have a couple of special events planned in September. On the 10th we will be hosting a Wellness Workshop featuring life coach Roo Davies, giving us tools to help us to set and achieve goals, and House of Colour's Ellen Peters, with her insights into style and colour and how they influence how we feel. It promises to be a really informative and fun afternoon. Tickets are available via Punchpass - follow the "book a class" link to reserve your place.

It's also Instructor Lucy's 40th Birthday! She will be hosting a celebratory class at Lord Williams's Lower School on Saturday 17 September, so make sure you mark it in your diary for a class full of her favourite routines.

On 21 September fourof your instructors will be jetting off to Chicago for a long awaited Instructor Conference. We will be joining Franchisees from all over the world, and mixing with our Jazzercise heros! This is the first face to face event for several years, so we know it will be full of inspiration and excitement. We have been told that we will be introduced to two new formats, and we need to pack our mats and mini resistance bands too. It all sounds very exciting! There will be a reduced timetable for a few days, but Adele, Sarah and Siew Yen will make sure you have one morning and one evening class where possible! These events ensure that the quality of classes we bring to you stays high. We are always assessing and examining how we teach, keeping up with current fitness trends and continually educating and improving ourselves to bring the best workouts to you every class.

We've recently seen many clients returning after a break due to Covid. It's really lovely to have the famililar faces back with us - and just goes to prove that you can try other forms of exercise, but once you find something you love, that will always be the one for you!

See you on the dance floor!
