November News

I'm a bit late getting this month's update done, we have been so busy!

I always feel that November is a good time for a bit of a re boost on our healthy eating and exercise - in many ways much more so than January when it's cold and dark, there are bills to pay, the celebrations are over and Spring seems a long way away! Right now we have parties and fun events planned, we want to look and feel good. We know that we are going to indulge ourselves over the Festive days - which we jolly well should do - it's been such a tough time and we need to celebrate with our friends and families and not feel guilty! Knowing that the menu will be full of extras, and it might be harder to get to exercise classes, I think that getting a sensible regime sorted out now is a form of damage limitation, and makes it much easier to return to a sensible way of life after New Year, so you don't feel like you are giving up things, but instead just returning to "normal". New Year Resolutions are mostly forgotten by February, so get some good habits in place now.

October was a busy month. We danced to show our support for all those who have been affected by Breast Cancer on our Pink Day, which raised over £1000 for Maggie's in Oxford. This is a wonderful centre for anyone with any type of cancer needing support and advice. We are so proud to help their funding for this much needed service.

Halloween brought some fun themed classes -  including Lucy's ever popular Pumpkin strength work. There's nothing quite like working out with a large vegetable!!

And finally the 21 Day Challenge was AMAZING! You really dug deep, added in those extra class times and smashed it. We had 24 people complete the 21 classes to win an exclusive Jazzercise microfibre mat towel, and a further 16 winners in the prize draw having done at least 10 classes in 21 days. We hope this made you realise that you are capable of more than you think and you should be very proud of yourselves! Hopefully you can keep a few of those extra classes in your weekly routine to continue the good work.

Watch out for a Special Offer for new and returning clients coming for Cyber Weekend on November 26.

Plans are all in place for our Christmas get together at the Spread Eagle on 3 December. Please send your menu requests by 18 Nov. We will be doing a seating plan, so please let me know if there's anyone you would particuarly like to be grouped with, and I'll do my best to organise the tables accordingly. I cannot wait to see you all looking lovely - in real clothes!

The timetable in late December will be slightly reduced as we lose some of the venues for holiday closures. Between Christmas and New Year there will also be a modified timetable. Keep an eye on Facebook and Punchpass for the up to date plans. Start thinking about your favourite routines for us to put into our celebratory sets!

I can't beleive that we are heading towards the end of 2021. What a time to be living, we are history in the making.

See you on the dance floor,

Janey
